She Did It!

Yay! It finally happened! Braelyn rolled over on September 12th! It was so exciting. I went downstairs t put in a load of laundry and when I got back upstairs this is how I found her! I dropped what I was doing and squealed "You did it!!" Then today, September 19th, she rolled over onto her belly while I was sitting next to her. Then she rolled back over onto her back. I was cheering and she giggled and smiled. I love my little princess!

Braelyn at 3 Months Old

That's right! Our little princess is 3 months old. She had grown so much! She smiles all the time now. She is trying to roll over, but hasn't figured out that she can't suck on her fingers and roll over at the same time, and I think she prefers to suck on the fingers. She has really started giggling and it just makes Mommy and Daddy melt. She is so sweet and I don't know where we would be without her. She completes us! One of her favorite things is getting raspberries. It makes her giggle so much! She also loves when daddy gets home from work. She knows when he is a little late, and she gets really fussy!

Tyler is doing well. He is recovering from Lotoja and preparing to do a relay race with three other people from Salt Lake to St. George. The next weekend he is going to try and win the Harvest Moon Criterium.

I am just keeping busy as ever. Between baby, cleaning, and errands, I don't feel like I even have time to eat. I am in the process of trying to find a part time evening job. I love being a stay at home mommy, but we need a little something more so that we can have a savings account. Well that is the like of the Matsons!

Here we go again!

Well it was that time of year again this last weekend. Our ANNIVERSARY! Which also means LOTOJA! All in all it was a very good weekend. On Thursday, I made Tyler's favorite dinner. (Our Anniversary is Friday.) Then that night, we went to give our little Braelyn her bath. I am always telling Tyler to leave Braelyn's diaper on til just before it is time to put her in, but he rarely does. On this one occasion, I was getting everything ready for Braelyn and Tyler was holding a bare naked girl. You probably just guessed it...Braelyn peed on him. Maybe now he'll take my advice about the diaper! I couldn't stop laughing! Friday morning, Tyler and I spend time together getting everything ready for LOTOJA. He went for a short bike ride and came home with a very funny story... He was riding and a bug hit his shoulder. He didn't think much of it until he got a sharp pain in his lower stomach. The bug was a bee, and it had stung him! I felt bad, but at the same time I thought it was pretty funny. That afternoon, my mom came to pick up Braelyn and Tyler and I left for Logan. After check in, we made our dinner in the Walmart parking lot... He were just going to stay in our car, but our friends Chelsea and Ryan Ottley invited us to stay at their house. Saturday morning we were up bright and early and to the starting line of LOTOJA. Tyler was so excited and looked so sharp in his jersey. The race didn't turn out the way we had hoped. Tyler was sitting top ten and was doing really well. Then he flatted coming down Salt River Pass. His replacement wheel wouldn't tune correctly, so by the time he got to Afton, he was bonked because he had to work twice as hard on a partically unfuctioning bicycle. I love him so much!! We still went to the finish line and supported all of our Simply Mac Teammates. Sunday we went to pick up Braelyn from my parents house. When we were getting her dressed, we were giving her raspberries on her tummy and she was giggling so hard. She did this for about five minutes. Daddy and I were laughing so hard that we were crying. Well, that was our weekend. Now it's back to reality and life! Gotta love it!

Braelyn Has Found Her Thumb

It has finally happened. Braelyn has found her thumb. It is the tastiest thumb! She absolutely loves it! I have a picture of her sleeping while sucking on her thumb. It is super cute (I'd post it, but my phone is dead, so I can't. It will come once there is life back in the phone :) ) I love my little munchkin!

I couldn't help it! I had to put Braelyn in her Jazz and Utes outfits. Once I put them on, it was just too cute not to wear for the day. They may be a little big, but that's okay! Love them!

It's September!!

September is my favorite month! I'm so happy that it is finally here! There are three reasons that this is my favorite month. First, my birthday is this month! Second, Tyler and I got married in September. We will be celebrating our second anniversary on the 9th! Third, because last year, we found out that our biggest blessing would be coming to us. We love our little Braelyn Rose. Braelyn keeps getting so close to rolling over, but that silly girl likes sucking on her fingers too much so her arms stop her. I'm guessing in the next couple weeks she will be rolling over!
